BiopharmIQ is a lean start-up company that aggregates and organizes information about bio/pharma companies and their clinical trials into an easy-to-use platform packed with relevant data. We strive to fill our platform with relevant, high quality information, and make it available for a fraction of the cost of our competitors' offerings. To achieve this we use a combination of artificial intelligence and various-web enabled programming tools, combined with human interactions, ingenuity and quality control.

Meet Our Team
Manny Vacchiano, J.D., PhD.
Founder
Manny has been a biotech patent attorney for over 20 years. He works closely with companies across the biotech space and understands the challenges they face. Before his law career, he was a PhD scientist at Abbott Laboratories and the National Institutes of Health where he did cancer research. He has also been a biopharma investor for over 20 years.
Dominic Vacchiano
Operations
Dominic has his Masters in Biotechnology Business Management which helps him understand the clinical and regulatory landscape these biopharma companies face. He has over half a decade of experience analyzing biopharma companies. Dominic has his Bachelors in Computer Science and leads the software and daily operations at BiopharmIQ.
Ariel Victorio
Data & Content Analyst
Ariel has his Doctor of Pharmacy and brings a unique blend of expertise to our team. Before joining BiopharmIQ Ariel worked as a Study Assistant for one of the largest clinical research organizations where he managed the operational aspects for a number of major trials. At BiopharmIQ, Ariel helps manage our biopharma data, create content for a number of channels, and aids in various digital projects. Outside of work Ariel is a coffee enthusiast, volunteers often for kids, and enjoys spending time outdoors soaking up nature.
Dominic Vacchiano
Data & Content Analyst
Rex is an accomplished professional with a basic and clinical research background. Before joining BiopharmIQ, he worked on numerous global multi-center clinical trials, primarily focused on vaccine studies, where he managed activities from the global to site level, coordinated with regulatory authorities, and ensured compliance with ICH-GCP guidelines. His approach ensures that all studies are conducted efficiently and in accordance with regulatory standards, making him a valuable asset to the team. At BiopharmIQ, Rex researches biopharmaceutical companies, analyzes drug pipelines, and manages biopharma data. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family and exploring gastronomic hotspots in his area.
Jaspher Dansalan
Data & Content Analyst
Jaspher is currently pursuing his Masters in Pharmacy. Prior to joining BiopharmIQ, he worked as a content coordinator for a major scientific publishing company where he provided editorial support and ensured the clinical accuracy of digital contents. He has a diverse professional background, with experience in clinical settings, regulatory affairs, and patient access program management. Outside of work, you can find him binge-watching TV series and past Formula 1 races.
Danilo M. Gonzales Jr.
Graphic Designer
Dan is a skilled graphic designer with a strong foundation in both digital and print media. Before joining BiopharmIQ, he contributed to various projects, focusing on branding and marketing materials, where he managed design processes from concept to execution, collaborated with clients, and ensured adherence to industry standards. His meticulous approach guarantees that all designs are not only visually stunning but also align with client objectives, making him a valuable asset to the team. At BiopharmIQ, he creates compelling visuals, analyzes design trends, and manages creative projects. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family, playing with his kids, and watching movies.

Buddy keeps a close eye on two things. Treats and $XBI (biotech ETF). As the Team Mascot, Buddy has a lot on his plate but he shows up every day with a wagging tail ready to go.
Our Story
BiopharmIQ is a family-run business started by father-son duo Manny and Dominic Vacchiano.
Manny loves being involved in innovation in biotech/biopharma that helps people lead happier and healthier lives. His passion for bio/pharma was ignited when he experienced his family’s, and especially his dad’s painful journey with brain cancer that ended with his death when he was 40 yrs old, and Manny was 12. That gave him the strong drive to have a career that helped drive innovative cures to diseases, especially cancer. This love and passion got him started in biotech 40 yrs ago. Being involved with bio/pharma innovation has provided Manny with decades of passion and satisfaction in his career.

Through Manny, Dominic was exposed to bio/pharma topics from an early age. Dinner table discussion sometimes ventured into recent advancements in diagnostics tools, reminiscing on previous experiments on vorticella, and interesting lab mates from the past (and their funny stories - snails like beer?). Dominic’s education moved towards computer science / informatics and he went on to finish a Master’s degree in Biotechnology. His passion is at the intersection of biopharma and modern tools leveraging programming and AI.

After investing in the biopharma space since the early 90’s, Manny started Amp Bioresearch in the 2010’s. This led to maintaining lots of information on biotech companies, their products, and the biopharma landscape overall. Primarily this was information about the therapeutic products they were developing, clinical trials they were running, and other regulatory related activities. Shortly after Amp was started, Dominic joined Manny alongside a team of analysts to help maintain this crucial information. Sourcing and maintaining all of this valuable data is no easy task. in 2019, after years of refining their systems and processes they launched BiopharmIQ. The goal being to supply others with well-maintained and actionable data.
Since starting they have served 100's of partners leveraging their data and insights..
Outside of biopharma they both share a passion for hockey, which they still (even Manny) play to this day.
